OPTO-COAT will preferably include contributions on surface funtionalization and thin film preparation to achieve a better control and develpoment of the optical properties. Of particular interest are the following topics:
Optical coatings for applications in:
Solar conversion: photovoltaics (i.e TCO), thermal (absorbing cermets), etc.
Energetic control of buildings (selective coatings)
Photonics, Optoplasmonics, Optoelctronics and MagnetoOptics.
Decorative and aesthetic coatings
Modelling and simulation of optical properties
Surface modification, functionalization and coatings for deposition on ceramic and polymeric substrates
Thermal stability and mechanical properties of optical coatings
Advanced optical characterisation techniques
Technological applications: building integration, devices etc.
The invited lectures duration will be of 35 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion, while the oral lectures duration will be of 15 minutes plus 3 minutes for discussion.
The poster session will take place during lunchtime at the Social Club I. Presenting authors are responsible of mounting their posters in the corresponding panels (the poster size is 90 cm width and 120 cm height DIN A0, i.e. portrait format). Moreover, authors will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation of the poster during the oral session. This presentation will be of 3 minutes per poster and will be held in 2 sessions of 20 minutes (5 posters per session) the first one before the coffee break and the second one before lunchtime.
